Customer involvement in all the stages of the process is essential.
The customized assessment process starts with a data collection session and even interviews inside the organization in order to better understand the customer needs. Even from this stage, the customer is involved and its cooperation is needed as well as transparency in data submission for the assessment.
Than, before presenting the report of findings a pre-meeting takes place. The scope of it is to ensure that both parties correctly understands and interpret the data. In case the client chose also the services of level (4) or levels (4 and 5), his involvment is again required, the client being part of the improvement process.
